Branding is more than just a logo—it’s the foundation of a company’s identity, the first impression for clients, and a guiding force for how a business presents itself to the world. When I had the opportunity to create the brand identity for Bright Beginnings ABA Therapy, a new therapy provider opening in Eureka this summer, I knew it needed to reflect warmth, optimism, and trust.
Every branding project starts with discovery. Through conversations with the Bright Beginnings team, I learned about their mission: to provide compassionate, play-based therapy that helps children thrive. We wanted the brand to feel friendly, hopeful, and professional—a balance of credibility and warmth.
From there, I explored different visual directions, refining the identity through multiple rounds of iterations. The final brand playbook includes:
✅ Primary and secondary logos (stacked and horizontal versions)
✅ A custom icon set reflecting growth and positivity
✅ A cheerful, yet calming color palette
✅ Typography that feels approachable yet polished
The final logo is a perfect representation of Bright Beginnings’ mission. The handwritten-style font gives it an inviting, child-friendly feel, while the bold, structured typography adds a sense of reliability. The sun icon reinforces the theme of new beginnings, growth, and warmth—key qualities in an ABA therapy environment.
For a business like Bright Beginnings, branding isn’t just aesthetic—it’s about trust. Parents looking for ABA therapy services want to feel confident that they’re choosing a place where their child will be supported, understood, and encouraged to grow. A well-crafted brand helps tell that story before a single conversation happens.
I’m so excited to see Bright Beginnings make an impact in their community. It was an honor to bring their vision to life through branding!
